To FLASH a unit I.E.To send a new version of the software to the MINI TOUCH:
Do the following:
ON MINI TOUCH
With Power OFF, Place the CLR/LOADER pod in Port 2. This POD has pin 
1&4 shorted on the DB9.
1-TURN POWER ON.
2-Wait until the message"START DOWNLOAD" appears on the TWO LINE Customer
  Display on rear of Unit.
ON WINDOWS PC
1-Unzip the lastest version of Mini Touch Software into a Folder, under
  "WINLINE", called FLASH. The latest version can be found On the web site
  of MICROPOSSYSTEMS.COM under FILES. SVGAmmdd.zip where mm is month and dd
  is day. Example SVGA1203.zip. The lastest WINLINE is version 2.12 and
  can also be found on the web site.
2-With the PC connected to PORT 3 of the MINI TOUCH via an RS-232 serial 
  NULL MODEM cable, 
3-Bring up "WINLINE" on your MicroSoft Windows machine.
4-With WINLINE signon Page Displayed select "COMMUNICATIONS" on the Top Menu
  BAR.
5-Next Select the Option "PROGRAM ECR FLASH".
6-WINLINE will display a File Selection Box. Use the file broswer to Locate
  and select the file unziped in step 1 above. I.E. "SVGA.HEX".
7-WINLINE will display a "PROGRAM ECR FLASH" Window. In this window the
  location Path of the file is displayed, Along with the date and size of the
  file.
8-Using the MOUSE select the "START DOWNLOAD" target.
9-The system should now be sending the HEX file to the MINI TOUCH. Feedback,
  to illustrate this that the MINI TOUCH will beep every 1 to 2 sec. Also,
  WINLINE will show a progress bar of percent transmited.
10 It will require approx. 4 to 6 minutes to complete. After all data has been
   Xmitted. The MINI TOUCH will display the messages that FLASH is being 
   ERASED, FLASH is being Programed and the results of the verification.
11 Finally, the message "SUCESSFUL" or "FAILURE" will be displayed.
   If "FAILURE" go back to step 1 at the TOP ,after turning POWER OFF.
   If "SUCESSFUL" turn off Power, remove the CLR/LDR POD as well as the
   serial cable to the PC.
12 Normally, at this time it is best to insert the CLR/LDR POD into
   Port 3 of the MINI TOUCH, to CLEAR MEMORY. When POWER is now turned ON.
 BackBox instructions

When using Winline to send a IPL to a Black Box do the following:
1- USE ONLY BBFLASH.HEX from the FTP site.
2- Put the Loop POD in PORT 2. Listen for BEEPS
3- Wait a few seconds and Start DownLine from WinLine.
4- When the BEEPs are continuious , turn power off and move POD to port Three.
5- Turn Power ON and go through CALIBRATION.

Now put the New IPL after March 31 2006 on CF CARD.
Turn Power OFF Remove Clr Loader POD( if you already have not) and Turn Power OFF.
Turn Power ON with Finger on Touch Screen.
When Screen Turns Blue, remove finger.
Select Last Button(of three) on Screen. 
PASSWORD is LDFLASH  caps required. OOPS NO CAPS KEY.
Select First Button LOAD IPL.
Screen should show the IPL's on the CFCARD.
Select the desired One.
